After we got off the plane, we loaded all the luggage onto vans, then into a ferry, and finally into trucks.  While in the trucks, whose drivers were crazy, the luggage that was piled on the back, fell off and was dragged for a couple hundred feet.  This first impression was soon changed after the amazing view to the top of the island.
Once we traveled up and down the hills, we were assigned to our cabins, which are much like wooden tents.  Since then, we went to the beach, and had fun swimming, playing, and learning a lot about the islands.  Today we started-out snorkeling, and the blue water, white beaches, amazingly colored fish, and odd shaped corals are awesome to watch and interact with.  We also took a nature walk and learned much about the vegetation and animal life of the island.
All in all, living primitively in the forest, with lizards and many other creatures in the hot and humid climate, is well worth the possible scare and sunburn when you see he crystal clear blue water, and experience the life of the islands.
