In the ocean there are many types of tropical fish and corals. Today a group of us saw three clear squid that had green eyes. They were very interesting to see. The water temperature here is somewhere between 80 and 90 degrees. I would imagine that the fish that habitate here only live in fairly warm water so that would be the effect of the water temperature. The water feels very good to swim in, especially after a long walk down to the beach. As for hermit crabs, our cabin woke up to see about 10 hermit crabs that were hanging out where we brushed our teeth. Later we dumped some extra scrambled eggs that Shock made and they liked that too. Dave says that cheese and milk attracted a lot of hermit crabs to their cabin. Everything attracts them. |
