As I watch the sun go down under the clouds. I expect it to explode into millions
of lights filling the whole sky with its brilliance, for its finale. Even though
my imagination fails to become reality I still love the moment. I yearn for it to
return, for it's beauty escapes everything cruel in the world. It is a time for me
to experience the real wonders in life and to appreciate the sunburn on my back.
As it goes down I want it to come back, but I know it will be back tomorrow to pay
me a visit. Each night that I see it I am lost in a world of awe and amazement. The
troubles in my mind are painted over with the tropical color of the sun, the puffy
white color of the clouds, the color of the dark silohette-like islands, and the
clear cerlean color of the shimmering sea. |
