The first snorkel was in Big Maho Bay. It must have been one of the coolest experiences I've ever had so far on St. John. The water here is clear and very refreshing. I thought it was so neat to have the chance to look at life under the sea. Everthing seemed so peaceful, and most of the fish would just stare back at you, or happily swim along. Nothing about my first snorkel was uneasing, except for an occassional mouthful of saltwater.
